Mac torrents download: apps that last a wedding season
I'm Sam Okafor. I photograph weddings in London and edit on a MacBook Pro with an M2 Pro. This is the shelf of software still installed when the season gets loud: photo and design tools first, then the useful rest. About 800 programs, each with the version and the download size.
I have not lived with all of them. When a note is from my own week, I say so. When it is a version and a file size, that is the catalogue, not a promise.
- Photo tools I cull and colour with
- Presets and plugins I actually drop on a set
- Utilities that keep the laptop from filling up mid-season

How the shelf is kept
I’m Sam, a wedding photographer in London, and this is the shelf I’ve built over years of editing on a MacBook Pro. mactorrentz started as a folder of tools I kept coming back to — Photoshop plugins that handle frequency separation without fuss, Lightroom presets that look like film stock, VSTs that sit nicely in a Logic session. It grew into a proper catalog because friends kept asking for copies.
You’ll find the heavy hitters here: Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve Studio, Ableton Live, Serum, Kontakt. But the real gems are often one folder deeper — a utility that renames a thousand RAWs in seconds, a design app that makes album layouts less painful, a video downloader that just works. The categories cover Photoshop Plugins, Lightroom Presets, VST Plugins, Photo, Video, Design, Utilities, Games and Mac Apps. Several hundred programs and counting, because a working toolkit never really stops growing.
